Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You’d love to feel more fit, but at the end of a long day with the kids and work, you just can’t seem to get off the couch
  • You’ve built a semi-sort of running routine but you know there’s more you could achieve
  • You crave space to be with your own thoughts, and an identity that goes beyond just being a Mum (or nan, or carer, or boss, or wife, or dog-parent – because we all need a break!)
  • You’d do anything to just be yourself, for 30 minutes a day
  • You’re putting in the work, running a few times a week but not seeing results
  • You would LOVE to one day complete your dream of running a half marathon

If we were hanging out in real life, I’d be popping open a bottle of red wine and pouring you a glass right now.

Aaaand then I’d probably have to run to the other room to help my son find his stuffed giraffe. You know how it is.

Because here’s the thing:

I know you are a FANTASTIC mum / wife/ friend /coworker / cheerleader / and “make-an-unnecessarily-complicated-Year-5-art-project-happen-the-night-before”-er. A master multitasker, you can read Harry Potter to your kids (or grandkids!), do laundry, unload the dishwasher, and deliver an on point presentation at work all at the same time.

But somewhere in that mix are your dreams and goals, just waiting for that incredible light of yours to shine on them too.

Finding time for yourself isn’t easy.

As a Mum of two delightful and hilarious, but, uhhhh, rather intense boys, I get it.

But what I know for sure is this:

If I want to show up as a great Mum, a good boss, an engaged friend and partner, I need to carve out a small window of time for myself.

And when I take that 20 minutes to get outside, and run through the streets, fresh air in my lungs, feet pounding below me, I come back happier, in a better mood, ready to show up for the endless Zoom meetings and birthday parties and bath times.

That’s why I created RUN with Turia.

A flexible, fun and no BS running program for Mums (of teens, toddlers, or grandkids!) who want to get from the couch to the finish line (or you know at least to the end of the street and back).

Hi, I’m Turia.

In 2011, I entered an ultramarathon in the outback of Australia. I was trapped by a grassfire during the race and received burns to 65% of my body. I spent six months in hospital going through gruelling rehabilitation, and was told that I’d never run again.

Since then? I’ve crossed the finish line at the Ironman World Championships, written four bestselling books, coached more than 40,000 people in my online programs, completed the Kokoda Trek, sailed a boat around French Polynesia, taken on massive physical challenges AND had two sons with my partner Michael.

And now, I want to run with you.

Ready to start running?

Choose from three distances, and get the support, flexibility and accountability you need to make it happen.

The Newbie: 5km

Perfect if you’re a total “never run before” beginner OR if you’ve had some time off running and feel like you’ve lost your cardio fitness somewhere in the bushes.

You must be over 12 months post-partum to join this program.

Eeeek, ok! Let’s do this!

The Confident & Capable: 10km

Don’t think you’re a “runner”?

That’s what these women thought.

We all need support (yes, you too!)

Whether you want to learn how to run 5kms as a total beginner, or set a new running goal and conquer 10 or 21kms, what you need is this:

  • A flexible life-proof program
  • Tips and strategies on how to actually get out the door and make that “me time” stick
  • A community of amazing women to lift you up (and keep you accountable). No, not one of those Facebook groups where you ask a question only to get zero replies (and MAYBE a like or two). A REAL community, where everyone shares their struggles, their wins, and their vulnerabilities freely so that they can all grow together.
  • Tips on improving your technique and pace
  • Support from coaches, physics and nutrition experts – all backing you to achieve your best results yet.

That’s what you get inside RUN with Turia.

I’ve poured my whole being into this program.

Everything that helped me get from a hospital bed to an Ironman finish line, and all the added wisdom I learnt returning to running after having my kids.

It’s the best place on the Internet.

And the doors will open soon.

What’s included?

Your 10 week training program

A flexible 10 week training program that will get you running further and faster, and feeling fitter and more confident. Designed to start slow and build your distance (and fitness) over time.

You’ll get the program upfront so you can plan out your sessions in advance, and we’ve included extra resources like strength workouts, a mobility and stretching lesson and running technique videos to help you get running correctly and support your body throughout the program.

Tips to help you actually get out the door

Weekly tips from me, delivered in short, accessible, Mum-friendly formats.

That means: a short video delivered every Sunday – also available as an audio file and a written post. So, you can; read it quietly while your toddler is sleeping, watch a video in bed or listen to the audio while you’re doing jobs/ferrying your teenagers around town in your personal Uber service (we heard you have a 5 star rating?).

Each tip I share will help you get out the door, keep your training sessions on track and help you do things like say no more often (you know you need that!), stop comparing yourself to others, break through your barriers and stop your inner critic.

Live coaching

Two live calls with me and our resident coach, Bel!

We’ll work through any challenges you’re facing, offer practical advice and give you feedback in real-time. That’s two opportunities to chat with us live, ask questions and get answers. Direct support to keep you accountable and motivated!

Pelvic Floor Support + Other Expert Advice

I’ve pulled together a team of experts to help guide you on your running journey.

We’ll host live chats with our experts, including:

An online pelvic floor workshop + a pelvic floor strengthening exercise class
Hosted by the women’s health physiotherapists at Finish Line PT, a NY based practice that specialises in helping women return to running. You’ll learn how to support your pelvic floor as you begin running, and get some helpful tips and insight into how to return to running safely.

A nutrition class
Hosted by Renee and Georgia from Nurture the Seed – a duo focused on helping clear the confusion around what to eat pre, post and during pregnancy. In this chat, Renee and Georgia (a clinical dietician and journalist respectively) will help you understand how to fuel your body as a woman tackling new running goals.

Exclusive access to the private RUN community

Plus, you’ll get access to the private RUN Facebook Group.
An epic gang of Mums taking on RUN with you, ready to support you and cheer you on – as you do the same for them. This is truly where the magic happens!

See for yourself.

I started building this course after I had my first son.

I’ve always loved running, but after I had my son Hakavai, my life had changed.

My day was no longer my own, you know?

I wanted to create a program that was flexible and took my family into consideration. A place where I got accountability without it being demanding, and where I had a group of women around me who really got where I was at.

That’s what I’ve created inside RUN.

We’re a community of cool, like-minded Mums (of teens or toddlers!) working together to get fitter, and feel stronger. This is a place where it’s celebrated to leave the laundry and go for a run, and where carving out a small fraction of your day for yourself is the main goal.

What if I’m not a Mum?

That’s fine! While the course was designed for Mums, we have plenty of women without kids running with us.

We’d LOVE to have you!

What it’s like to train with me.

I’m so proud of the legends I’ve worked with in the past. Here are some of their stories.

“Thanks to Turia, I feel like no matter what gets thrown at me, I now have the skills and mindset to get through it!”

– Cirsty

“I can’t adequately describe the shift that has occurred through this program. I always thought of runners as “others”. I now know I am a runner. Yes I am a mother, a friend, a worker but I am also a runner. I can do the hard things… because why not!”

– Eva

“Turia and the team are amazing, inspiring, motivating, kind and funny!  You will love the program, the coaching and the Facebook page!  Everyone is gorgeous and positive and generous with their feedback.  Of course you will find many challenges but you will grow and feel stronger and more empowered every day! You can do this!”

– Angela

“Put your gym membership on hold and sign up to RUN. The feeling of achievement after each run is so worth it… and so is the time for yourself.”

– Lauren

“I went from being too scared to even run for short distances at the gym to actually enjoying running. It started small, made me challenge myself in a safe way and then gave me some quick wins. It was achievable and made me feel successful.”

– Jess

“The most fun, positive and just plain wonderful group exercise experience I’ve ever had in my life!! For a fraction of the cost of a yearly gym membership (or even some boot camps) you can gain fitness, skills and most importantly the best, biggest squad of cheerleaders ever. You’ll be set up to reach amazing goals (both now and in future)!”

– Linda

“Fun, challenging, exhausting but one of the best ‘fitness’ experiences I’ve had. This program works.”

– Chrissie

“I learnt that those distances I had run in the past (that I feared were slipping away from me) were still actually in me. I just needed to believe I could do it. Having Turia’s and Bel’s encouragement as well as this wonderful group of fellow runners helps prove to me that I’m not alone.”

– Sandy

“I’ve discovered just how much I need running – it’s the best head clearer there is. I’m proud that I’ve been able to push through mental and physical barriers, and am running further than I have in 8 years!”

– Amanda

“This is the first training program where I actually saw results and achieved the goal I set myself well ahead of time. The support, training tips and program is perfectly structured to ensure success.”

– Debbie

“Run with Turia is amazing! Fun, flexible and informative. I never thought I could enjoy running for over an hour! Amazed how this program has not only inspired me but my 9 year old (occasional) running buddy.”

– Yvonne

“Run with Turia gave me my sense of self back and gave me time to focus on just me”

– Christie

Got questions? Great, I’ve got answers!

Is RUN right for me?

If you’re a Mum (over 12 months postpartum) who wants to take on a challenge, learn how to make time for yourself, and feel stronger, YES, this program is for you!

I'm concerned about your pelvic floor strength. How do I know if I'm ready?

Firstly, we love that you’re thinking about this. Pelvic floor health is SO important, and we don’t want you to join this program before you’re ready.

The team at Finish Line PT have put together this handy pre-screen test for you. If you’re unsure if this program is right for you, from a pelvic health perspective, use this test and their accompanying recommendations as a guide.

What was that about 12 months?

While the program has been reviewed by women’s health physiotherapists, this is not a postpartum specific course. If you’ve given birth in the last 12 months, this program is not for you. Take a beat, enjoy (or just survive!) that first year, and come and join us when you’re physically and mentally ready for the challenge. I promise we’ll be worth the wait.

I’m a total beginner? Will I be able to keep up?

Yes! The program has been designed for Mums who are completely new to running all the way up to those Mums who are already running but are wanting that extra motivation to reach their running goals.

If you’re a total beginner, you might look at your training sessions and feel a bit daunted. Like, if you haven’t run before, 15 minutes seems like AN EXTREMELY LONG TIME to be running! Well it is if you’re assuming you need to be sweating vigorously and struggling to breathe and feeling like your heart is about to pop out of your sports bra. But we give you guidelines about how fast you should be running for each session. For most sessions, you should be able to hold a conversation while you’re running. This means that you might look slow to passing cars. This means that a toddler might overtake you. And all of this means that you’ll need to leave your ego at the door. Stick to the plan, and we promise you’ll get there.

I don't have much running gear. What will I need to do the course?

Look, if you can spring for a new kit, some fancy super-sonic headphones and an extra smart watch gadgety thing that can sense your perspiration… that’s great. Awesome in fact!

But all you really need for this course is a pair of joggers and a positive attitude. Really!

You’ll see in the training programs that sometimes you’ll need to run for a certain amount of time, so a watch can be helpful (but is not imperative – you can always use your phone. Um, you do have a phone don’t you? ?).

You’ll also see that sometimes you need to run for a certain distance so having a watch that gives you this information is helpful, but again, not necessary. You can use Google Maps to work out roughly how far it is around an oval, you can use a free app like Map My Run, or you can drive your planned route and get an estimate using your car’s odometer.

My kids are all grown up, can I still join?

Of course! If you’re a Mum of teens, toddlers or adults, you can join this course!

I don't know what distance to choose

Look, we are all for you setting audacious goals! So with whichever distance you want to do, please know that you have our full support. Remember, anything in the world is possible if we back that up by doing the work.

Having said that, please don’t feel pressured to do a distance that you’re not too keen on. This is your life, it’s your run, and we want you to have the best experience possible.

“Cool Turia, thanks for that super vague advice and I STILL DON’T KNOW WHICH DISTANCE IS FOR ME!”

It’s OK, sugar pea, Coach Bel has put together some guidelines for you.

You should do the…?
5km program if you have never run before OR if you’ve had time off running and feel like you’ve lost your cardio fitness somewhere in the bushes.

10km program if you can comfortably run 5km or half an hour without stopping OR if you’ve run 10km before but it’s been foreverrrrrrrr since you’ve done an actual race at any effort.

21km program if you have run 10km before or an hour without stopping and you are keen as mustard to take on the extra challenge. You are also able to opt for the walk /run method for this distance too.

Is it available in my country?

Yes, it’s an online course, so as long as you have a computer or smartphone connected to the internet, you can join in!

I've just had a baby, can I join?

While the program has been reviewed by women’s health physiotherapists, this is not a postpartum specific course. If you’ve given birth in the last 12 months, this program is not for you. Take a beat, enjoy (or just survive!) that first year, and come and join us when you’re physically and mentally ready for the challenge. I promise we’ll be worth the wait.

.

Isn't running hard? I'm scared to do it!

Yes, running can be challenging. I get it! But that’s part of the magic of it. Because doing things that we find challenging helps us to see that we are CAPABLE of doing hard things! It teaches you what you’re truly made of, when you are willing to get stuck in and just have a go.

So, if you’re up for a challenge, If you want to get stuck into something new, and positive and, yes, I’ll say it, LIFE CHANGING ….

Join me inside RUN.

The doors are open now, and I’d love to run with you.

How much access will I have to you, Turia?

You’ll have two opportunities to chat with Turia live on our group coaching calls! She’ll also pop into the Facebook group to answer your q’s once or twice a week. The rest of the time, Team Turia will be here to support you along your journey! No one ever does anything great alone, we’ve got your back 100% of the way.

What's your refund policy?

We want you to have an amazing experience in this course, but if something happens that stops you from participating, we’ll give you 14 days from the course start date to request a refund. After that date, you can still request a refund on compassionate grounds.
