“Turia, how do I get motivated to run?”
I get this question all the time.
And I answer it with another question:
Are you tired? Are you getting slammed at work? Have you had a fight with your girlfriend? Sometimes there’s reasons as to why we aren’t feeling particularly motivated, and I think it can be helpful to reflect on the reasons why.
I also think it can be helpful to stop waiting for motivation……
And in this case, I’d suggest using the Five Minute Rule.
