A payment plan for lollipops?

By November 10, 2020No Comments

When I was 8, I sold Chupa Chups (lollipops) on the bus to school. Admittedly, this wasn’t a great idea. All my customers were my school friends who were delinquent with payments.

When I was 9, my Dad ran his own business out of our house, and I begged him to let me do the menial tasks – for a price, of course. He obliged. I remember scanning more than 2,500 images for a book one weekend!

When I was 10, I read ‘Rich Dad Poor Dad’ and became fascinated with the idea of making money through real estate and investing in assets.

By 15, I was working two jobs on the weekends – the video shop, and the fish and chip shop – and babysitting for spare cash throughout the week.

The point is: I’ve always loved money and the freedom it represented.

But I know that not everyone feels the same way.

Money can be really stressful, especially when you don’t have enough of it (um, hello COVID and your delightful impact on the economy).

And the money that you do have, it definitely can’t buy you happiness right?

Well, that’s what I wanted to explore when I researched and wrote my new book Happy.

I wanted to find out if money could indeed make you happy, and if, so, how damn it?! Tell me how!!

I wanted proven, tangible things you could do with your money to make you feel good.

So, I researched, I spoke to Scott Pape (The Barefoot Investor) and what did I discover? Well, my friend, you’ll just have to buy the book to find out! ?

Happy is available to order right now! You can get your hands on a copy right here (and you’ll also get access to the secret podcast I recorded as a little surprise treat!).

Money – it may or may not buy you happiness, but it can definitely buy you Happy! ?

PS – Want to get your hands on the recipe to my signature dish – my famous mint choc slice? It’s my go-to dish. For real. Like, whenever a mate’s having a baby shower/party for their Shetland pony, I get asked to make “that yummy chocolate mint slice thing”. You get the recipe as a little welcome note when you join my letter gang. You can join right here.
