This blog is for anyone feeling a little bit low confidence or just ‘meh’.
If that’s you, run through this super quick activity with me.
1. I want you to look around the room or place you’re in right now. Go on, have a good look.
2. Now, I want you to count the number of things you can see that are red.
OK, got them all?
3. Good. Now, close your eyes and tell me the number of things that were green.
Can you remember the green things? My guess is that you can’t really remember them.
Because you weren’t looking for them!
It’s true. We get what we look for.
So, if you’ve been feeling a bit low, unconfident, or self conscious lately, you need to change what you’re looking for in life.
If your outlook on life is “No one likes me, and I can’t do anything right”, or “Life’s a bitch and then you die 😞” then all you’re gonna see is evidence proving that statement right.
But if your outlook is “I’m a loveable legend with a kickass life 👊” or “Life happens for me, not to me”, you’re sure as hell gonna see the positives and feel good about your life.
You get what you look for, so look for the things that make you feel kick-ass. – Tweet it!
